		<description><![CDATA[I have yet to encounter anyone - be they Labour, Tory, Undecided, Uninterested or just Other (not many of them) - who are excited, enthused or threatened by the appointment of &#039;Steady Ed&#039;.

When you compare him to other key political figures in parliament: Cameron, Clegg, Hague, Straw - he just doesn&#039;t seem to have the potential to lead a country as much as irritate them.

And the Labour Party knew it.

Have the trade unions hurt their own cause by managing losing the next election 4 years in advance?]]></description>
