Hamilton West and Earnock’s councillor Mark McGeever immediately responded to news First Bus plan to axe the X1 service between Hamilton and Glasgow city centre.

The letter (pictured below) was sent to the company following its announcement of Friday 20 September 2019.

In it, Cllr McGeever makes clear the loss of the X1 would seriously impact residents and urges First Glasgow to reverse the decision.
